- The User’s personal data is processed and disclosed to recipients with their prior consent, expressed at the time of registering an Account in the Online Store.
- Consent to the processing of personal data is entirely voluntary; however, lack of consent makes it impossible to register an Account in the Online Store and limits access to placing Orders, making purchases via the Online Store, and using the Services.
- In connection with TORPOL’s processing of personal data, the User has the following rights:
- The User may withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time – without stating a reason. The request may concern the processing purpose indicated by the User or all processing purposes. Withdrawal of consent for all processing purposes will result in deletion of the User’s Account in the Online Store, and the User’s personal data will not be processed or disclosed by TORPOL. Withdrawal of consent will not affect activities performed to date. The User can independently view granted consents in the “MY ACCOUNT–MY CONSENTS” tab and can independently delete the Account in the “MY ACCOUNT–DELETE ACCOUNT” tab.
- The User may request deletion of their personal data at any time, without stating a reason. A request for deletion will not affect activities performed to date. Deletion of data will result in deletion of the User’s Account in the Online Store, and the User’s personal data will not be processed or disclosed by TORPOL.
- The User may object to the processing of their personal data at any time, either in full or for the purpose indicated by them. The objection will not affect activities already performed. For this purpose, contact TORPOL via the email address provided in § 7 below, providing the name and address of the entity to which TORPOL is to transfer the User’s personal data and the scope of such data. The transfer will be made electronically after the User confirms this request. Confirmation is required for the security of the User’s personal data and to ensure that the request comes from an authorized person.
- The User may request information from TORPOL at any time regarding the scope of TORPOL’s processing of the User’s personal data.
- TORPOL is obliged to inform the User no later than within one month of receiving each request about the actions taken by TORPOL.
§6
Retention period for personal data
- The User’s personal data is stored until the User’s Account is deleted. Deletion of the account may be carried out by the User, and also in the event the User withdraws consent to the processing of personal data, raises an objection to the processing of personal data, or requests deletion of the data.

§9
Cookies
- The Online Store uses “cookies”. Cookies are small files that enable the device used to browse the Internet (e.g., a computer, smartphone, etc.) to store specific information about the device being used. Information recorded in cookies is used, among other things, for advertising and statistical purposes and to adapt the Online Store to the individual needs of Users.
- Cookies are used by the Online Store to:
- a) adapt the content of the Online Store to Users’ preferences and optimize use of the Online Store; in particular, these files make it possible to recognize the User’s device and properly display the Online Store, adapted to the User’s individual needs;
- b) create statistics that help understand how the User uses the Online Store, which enables improving its structure and content.
- TORPOL uses two types of cookies: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. “Session” cookies are temporary files stored on the end device until the User leaves the Online Store or turns off the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until deleted.
- Local Storage and Session Storage variables (collectively referred to as Web Storage) are similar to cookies, with the difference that the browser does not send them to the Online Store each time. Both cookies and Web Storage variables may be deleted when the User closes the browser (session cookies and Session Storage variables) or stored longer (Local Storage variables).
- The following types of cookies are used on the Website:
- “necessary” cookies enabling the use of services available within the Website, e.g., authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication within the Online Store;
- cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect abuse in the scope of authentication within the Website;
- “performance” cookies enabling collection of information on how the Online Store is used;
- “functional” cookies enabling “remembering” settings selected by the User and personalizing the interface, e.g., with respect to the selected language or region of origin, font size, the appearance of the Online Store, etc.
- If the User does not want cookies to be installed on their device, they may refuse consent to install cookies as follows:
- In Microsoft Edge: select “Settings” from the main menu, then “View advanced settings” and define the privacy level in the “Privacy and services” section,
- In Mozilla Firefox: select “Tools” from the menu, then “Options” and define the privacy level in the “Privacy” section,
- In Opera: select “Tools” from the menu, then from “Preferences” select “Advanced”, and then “Cookies”,
- In Google Chrome: from the menu on the right select “Options”, then “Advanced” and “Cookie settings”,
- In Safari: in the Settings menu select “Safari”, then in the Privacy and Security section select “Block cookies”.
The above methods of refusing consent may change. These are example browser types. In most browsers, information about cookies can be found in the “Tools” or “Options” menu.
Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available in the Online Store.
§10
Statement regarding data protection in Google Analytics
The Website uses web service analysis mechanisms of Google Inc. (“Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA”): Google Analytics, Google Double Click and Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics, Google Double Click and Google Tag Manager use cookies that enable analysis of how websites are used. Information collected by cookies is transmitted to Google servers located in the USA and archived.
If the IP anonymization function is enabled when using the Online Store, the User’s IP address is shortened by Google. This applies to European Union Member States and other countries listed in the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In this way, the IP anonymization function will be active in the Online Store. At the request of the Online Store operator, Google uses the collected information to analyze Users’ use of the Website, prepare reports on the use of the Online Store and other services related to Internet use. The IP address transmitted by the User’s browser within Google Analytics is not stored together with other Google data.
The User may block the saving of cookies in the web browser. However, in such a case full use of all functions of the website will not be possible. In addition, the User may block the collection of data generated by cookies related to the use of the Online Store (including the IP address) and sending it to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the plug-in available below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=pl
